Cesar always brought a positive attitude to work and his optimistic spirit will be dearly missed in our kitchens.
We are raising money to aid Cesar's family in returning his remains to Guatemala so that they may honor his life in keeping with their traditions. Cesar is survived by his wife Rosa, daughter Veronica, and son Melchor, as well as his brother Antonio, a fellow team member in Connecticut.

My name is Kristin Oman and I work out of the Chicago office of Cornerstone Restaurant Group, the parent company of SolToro where Cesar worked. I am managing the campaign on CRG's behalf. The funds collected will be deposited into the business account for SolToro and withdrawn by its Director of Operations Jakub Andros, then Jakub will have the accounting team direct paying the company that is facilitating returning Cesar to Guatemala. Any balance will be gifted to his brother Antonio to be used at his discretion to further assist their family.
