HELPING CELESTE AND TONY DIAZ THROUGH A DARK TIME
Donation protected
My name is Erika Gillie, and I am reaching out to you today to help two individuals who are very special to me and to many others, Celeste and Tony Diaz. I have known Celeste and Tony for over 15 years. They have become more than friends, more than my daughters’ dance teacher; they have become family. I know I can count on them for anything.
Celeste and Tony Diaz Have been so much to so many throughout the years. Celeste especially has been a teacher, a mentor, a friend, a second mother, or a shoulder to cry on. Both Tony and her have always been there to provide a loving hug or a prayer. Neither asking nor wanting anything in return. That is their nature, their caring and giving hearts. But now, the ones that have given so much to others need our support. And while neither Tony nor Celeste would ask for help themselves, I am asking for them.
Several years ago, Tony became mysteriously ill. His medical conditions prevented him from working and continuing with their towing company. At this point, Celeste became the sole provider for their family. Over the years, Tony’s heath has ebbed and flowed; however, never improving enough for him to return to work or to his normal daily activities. Through endless doctors, medical appointments, and therapies Celeste has continued to fight for Tony and work full time doing what she loves, teaching dance.
As you can imagine, this has taken a toll on Celeste and Tony, not only emotionally, but financially. Those of you that know them, know that they would never ask for help. Celeste and Tony have been praying and fighting so hard for so long, and now it is time for us - her friends and family - to hold them up. To give them the strength and help they need to make it through this trying time.
Celeste and Tony are still praying and fighting. We know they will never give up. My goal is to raise enough funds for them so they can have a little breathing room, a light at the end of the tunnel to guide their way to continue on. To help them with not only their monthly expenses, but also Tony's continuing medical expenses.
Tony still has a road ahead on his way to recovery and healthier life. Celeste has a plan and will continue on her path. Hopefully, we can make that path a little easier for them.
Please consider giving what you can to Celeste and Tony. They have given to so many in their lives. Even if they had nothing, Celeste would give you whatever she had. It is our time to give back to them. Thank you.
