Hi everyone,

We are reaching out with humble hearts to share the story of our beloved Cassidy, a talented tattoo artist, painter, and an incredible soul who has touched so many lives in our community at Artistic Creations in Middletown, NY.

For 16 years, Cassidy has dedicated her life to her art, using her hands to create beautiful tattoos and piercings for countless people. Now, at 33 years old, she needs our help to heal her own heart.

Cassidy was born with a Bicuspid Aortic Valve, a congenital heart condition she has lived with her entire life. Recently, it has led to a life-threatening complication: a 5.1 cm aortic aneurysm. This means the main artery carrying blood from her heart is dangerously enlarged and at risk of rupture.

To save her life, she will undergo major open-heart surgery at Columbia University Medical Center in NYC on October 14th. Her procedure is called the Ross Procedure, a complex operation performed by one of the world's leading experts, Dr. Hiroo Takayama. This surgery will replace her faulty valve and repair her aorta, giving her the chance at a long, healthy, and vibrant life.

This surgery is about more than survival; it’s about giving Cassidy the future she dreams of. It will allow her to return to the career she loves, continue creating her beautiful paintings, and, most importantly, it opens the door for us to safely expand our family—a dream we feared was lost.

The road to recovery will be long. Cassidy will be unable to work for many months as she heals. As a tattoo artist, her income depends entirely on her ability to be on her feet and use her hands with precision. We are facing not only significant medical expenses but also the loss of our primary income during this critical time.
