Cara Rescue:

About €150 to €200 for EACH DOG! 

And that's only if it needs standard care. Vaccinated, microchipped, food , spay , wormers. That also would take about 3 to 4 weeks to complete and then for to get them ready for adoption.

But Cara Rescue have also taken in ex greyhounds as they were going to be put to sleep, so they went to private kennels to save. With the help the Garda with hounds also. So they were left with the bill.

There has been so much and with NO government support and cost of living emergency at the moment donations are down. During Covid they couldn't fundraise like normal it's all really come to a head now.
