Candice Green was a loving and devoted mother, wife, and friend who tragically passed suddenly and unexpectedly.

She leaves behind her husband, who is unable to work as he continues his difficult journey toward a third kidney transplant, and their 12-year-old son. He now cares for their son on his own.

Her eldest daughter, Alexis, lives away from home. She is a teacher and has exhausted all of her paid sick time due to this significant and devastating loss. She is now on a leave of absence however, her school district has reduced her monthly pay. Alexis is required to pay for her substitute while on leave out of her own pocket.

This unexpected tragedy has been devastating on so many levels. The family needs time to grieve and be there for each other both physically and emotionally, yet the financial commitments need attention.
