Hi, A colleague has had cancer for 7 years and mental strength is a big part of winning the battle against this cruel disease. Mount Alvernia hospital in Guildford where he gets treated is wonderful, but the gardens are depressing and we want to raise funds to create a space that patients undergoing treatment can enjoy and improve their mental wellbeing, which helps enourmously in the success of treatment.
