We understand that the flights home to Canada from Peru have created some financial strain for many people.  We don't think that finances should prohibit you from going home, so we have created this GoFundMe as a way to crowd source some money to help those in this position (people who are still stuck in Peru at this time).  There are individuals and families unable to get home. 

We are not looking to raise money for the entire cost of a ticket home, but we are looking to help decrease the financial burden of the price home ($1409 CAD one way, plus potentially $275 from Cusco to Lima - or various other places in Peru, and continuing flights within Canada). 

The three admins of the Canadians Stuck in Peru Covid 19 have been keeping track of people who have reached out for financial assistance for this reason.  If this is you, please reach out to myself, Lina, or the other two admins.
