Prosthetic For Buddy!

Hi! Happy New Year and thank you for taking the time to read about my boy.
I adopted a very special dog in March 2021.
Buddy is a doberman pinscher that was used for illegal breeding in an abandoned house along with dozens of other dogs. He is estimated to be 7 years old as of this past November. Due to severe neglect and likely abuse, each of these dogs suffered extensive trauma. Upon rescue, it was discovered that Buddy’s leg was broken and dangerously infected. Because of this, complete amputation, shoulder included, was necessary. Buddy was also diagnosed with epilepsy, and without support of a front leg collapses frequently.
Buddy is the funniest, most loving and brave dog I’ve ever met.
Recently, I came across a company that is able to 3d print prosthetics. I had a virtual meeting this evening and the cost estimate came out to $1750 for the prosthetic.
A prosthetic front leg would greatly improve Buddy’s quality of life. As he gets older, the weight on his right front leg could become too much to hold himself up. This prosthetic is made to be comfortable and very versatile (he can go to the beach!)
While I will absolutely save as much as I can for my boy, I’m hoping there might be some people out there who are able to help.
