In the early hours of Sunday, March 15, during a high-wind weather event and Red Advisory in Erie, Pennsylvania, my son’s girlfriend, Brittni Warus lost her home to a devastating fire.
My son, Kaeden, was there with her at the time, and I am incredibly grateful that they both made it out safely in the middle of the night. While their safety is a true blessing, Brittni has lost everything in the fire.
Brittni is in her twenties and had worked hard to become a homeowner. In a matter of moments, her home and belongings were gone. As she begins the long process of filing insurance claims and finding temporary housing, we are asking family and friends to come together to help support her as she rebuilds her life.
Any contribution—large or small—will help Brittni with immediate needs like clothing, essentials, and temporary living expenses while she works toward getting back on her feet.
We are so grateful to God that Brittni and Kaeden were able to escape to safety. Your prayers, kindness, and support mean more than words can express.
Thank you for helping surround Brittni with love during this incredibly difficult time. God’s blessings to you all.
Love, Shanese
