Hi everyone, my name is Perci, and I’m reaching out with love and hope for my father, Brandon. He’s currently facing a tough and worsening battle with brain cancer, and I’ve stepped into the role of both his caregiver and our household’s main source of income. While I would love to be able to continue care at home, the cancer has progressed, and the need for professional around the clock care has grown. He needs a permanent bed in a hospice care facility. However, with the shutdown adding further financial stress to an already tight budget, this is something we need help with. $300 a night is beyond understandable for the care he needs, though it doesn't make it any easier to pay. It’s been hard to keep our heads above water, emotionally and financially. We’re asking for help to ease the weight on both of our shoulders — to cover hospice costs, care assistance, and basic necessities so we can fully enjoy every moment we have left.
