Helping Brandon Through His Battle with Brain Cancer

Hi everyone, my name is Perci, and I’m reaching out with love and hope for my father, Brandon. He’s currently facing a tough battle with brain cancer, and I’ve stepped into the role of both his caregiver and our household’s main source of income.

I work a demanding job, and while I do everything I can to be there for him, there are many days when I have to miss work to take care of his needs. Although I’m protected from being penalized thanks to FMLA, I’m not paid for those missed days — and as you can imagine, that adds up quickly.

Brandon does receive some support through Social Security, but the payments are often delayed, and when they come in, most of it goes straight toward overdue bills. It’s been hard to keep our heads above water, emotionally and financially.

We’re asking for help to ease the weight on both of our shoulders — to cover rent, utilities, and basic necessities so that I can be more present with my dad during this time. Every donation, no matter the size, brings us a little closer to stability, peace, and care.
