Hi, my name is Stephanie Ruth and I am reaching out to all of you asking for help for my sister Brandi Brown, who has been fighting and battling cancer for over 4 years. She has Metastatic breast cancer. They removed the left side first by doing a Mastectomy.

Three weeks later they found a new tumor on her right side and had to have it removed. Then they found lesions on her liver and removed parts of her liver.

At the same time they removed her spleen, gallbladder and appendix.

She’s done 15 chemo treatments

And she has 10 radiation chemo treatments left to do at MD Anderson in Houston Texas.

She has a tumor in her chest cavity that has grown another .9mm but at this point it is too risky to remove.

She spent 3 months on home health because they couldn’t get her chest closed, so it had to be packed daily.

The room cost for five days is $750.00 in Houston and she has to go there every 4 days and she stays for 5 days while she has her treatments done.

That doesn’t include food or travel.

Her stomach, because of treatment and medication is paralyzed so she has had 5 surgeries on her stomach to fix it and make it work on it’s own.

Polycythemia is a blood disease that she has because of another side effect from everything that she has had to endure.

We are praying that these treatments finally puts her in remission and shrinks this tumor so they can remove it.

Brandi has been unable to work for about a year due to everything that is going on and her husband Jim has been working like crazy plus having to try his hardest to be with Brandi as much as possible to help her with anything she needs. They have not one time asked for a penny from anyone to help with these expenses but I know if they had some help it would relieve some added stress and pressure off of Brandi.
