Helping Brad kick cancers ass
Donation protected
As many of you may know, Brad Brissette was recently diagnosed with oropharyngeal cancer. He will be out of work for at least 3 months and just recently began chemo and radiation. You may know Brad from working security the last 6 years, although he recently became our newest ER tech. Brad's awesome. He's probably been your literal body guard in some sense if you work in the ER at Good Samaritan.
I've never made one of these, and to be honest I barely know what I'm doing. I just want to help a friend. If you or someone you know has been affected by cancer, you know it can be a treacherous road to walk down. Unforeseen circumstances can arise, with crazy medical bills and other needs that people maybe aren't comfortable asking for help with. Ash and Brad don't currently know the total out of pocket expense. I didn't even know what amount to list when I started this. I can only imagine that every little bit helps when things like this catch you by surprise.
Times are trying for so many people right now. I'm fortunate enough to still belong to the essential work force. I'd like to spread a little cheer because of that. It's always difficult to ask for financial support, and you should never feel bad if you can't help in that way. A hug, a hot meal, groceries, or a few beers can also go a long way.
Since I've known him, Brad has always protected me. I would like to try and do the same for him. Let's help Brad kick the crap out of cancer.
