Hi everyone
Boris was born with Hemophilia A an inherited blood clotting disorder which means whenever he get a bump or knock to his body it bleeds rather than clotting and brushing like normal dogs.
There is no cure for Hemophilia all we can do is manage his pain and give him regular plasma transfusions.
His blood count on a scale of 1 to 100 with 1 being the worst is 4 so the specialists have estimated he would probably need 1 Plasma transfusion a month in the hope that as he gets older he will start to calm down a little and grow out of his puppy stage and get less knocks and bumps meaning less Transfusions.
He is such a happy boy and sprinted into the vets this morning weeing everywhere with excitement as he goes for his 3rd Plasma transfusion
The target of £1000 would give him 2 transfusions at our vets who have been absolutely amazing. ( That target would get him 1 treatment anywhere else. )
We are hoping for him to have a summer holiday by the sea where he can run free and play happily
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Sending lots of love and strength to you all ❤️
