My name is Bob Baker. I never would have thought that I would be asking for financial assistance. Since last October, my wife has been hospitalized three times: October, December, and February. Twice for falls in the house and in February for pneumonia that turned into nine days on a ventilator. She almost died, but her doctors and nurses saved her. Thank God she made it through it all. She’s been doing rehab at the hospital for the last week and hopefully will be home soon.
In the meantime, I slipped on ice at work and fractured my arm and ripped my elbow open. Needless to say, the medical bills are starting to come in. I’m on leave from work for the time being, and I don’t have any idea when I’ll be able to get back to work. We have pretty much depleted our savings to pay our bills. I have too much pride to ask for help, but I don’t know where to turn. If anybody can see their way to help us through this time of need, it would be greatly appreciated. We’re not asking for the moon. Thank you.
