Hi, my name is Amilah and I'm based in Dublin (Ireland). I have started this gofundme in order to raise money to help this wonderful young man Bilal, who is 17 years old, but wiser beyond his years and an amazing help to his family. My journey with Bilal began on March 4th when he linked in with me via instagram asking me if there was any way I could help him get a tent and blankets for his family as the weather was cold. We have been in touch ever since. His immediate family consists of his mum, dad, two sisters and one brother.

Through photo's and video calls I have met his mum and his grandmother, said hello to his siblings and have virtually walked through the destruction that has been caused to his home. His younger sister Judy also has medical needs which are not being met due to their displacement and collapse/destruction of the medical system in Gaza. We did try to see if she would be eligible for medevac but she didn't fall into the criteria. There were more urgent cases than hers.

Bilal is living displaced in a tent with his surviving family members. They have suffered the loss of loved ones. He got really sick himself due to a lack of proper food and clean water.

The money raised will to towards helping them financially to replace what was destroyed and for medical expenses. Ideally it would be amazing to raise enough to evacuate the family to Egypt. However, we will start off with a lesser goal, and hopefully build upon it. They are unable to open a gofundme from Palestine as it is not in the list of countries that are supported by gofundme. It is a trust upon me, to make sure that the funds raised get to them, and this is something that I will make sure is done.
