We are so devastated to be learning about the stories across the country and so many that have been hit hard by Hurricane Helene. One of our OGs from Mechanicsville, who now lives in Redington Beach Florida Alana Wirsch (now Kirk), her husband Ben, and their sweet boy Gibson have lost everything… After the hurricane passed, when they were finally able to get back to their home by jet ski, they came back to a house completely flooded. As they shuffled through things in the sewage water, they were hoping to save some of the baby items, wedding items, and Gibson's multi-year collection of Pokémon cards… (Seems little to us, right? But to Gibson, this was so important).

Now they need our help to start rebuilding their lives. To start, they have a 20k deductible to get started on water restoration. They will need to buy all new wardrobes, underwear, shoes, baseball items for Gibson’s sports, hopefully some toys, meds, glasses/contacts, daily items, groceries, and housing. Please be praying for them and if able, anything will help. Let’s blow them away with our Mechanicsville love!
