With humility and hope, I reach out to you to request financial assistance for my mother, Belkis Galeán de Rojas, 79 years old, who suffered a pertrochanteric femur fracture after a fall in her home in Valencia, Venezuela, on Thursday, January 4th.

Despite being initially attended to at the central hospital in Valencia, the saturation of the public healthcare system has delayed scheduling the surgery for the next 15 days. Faced with this situation, we have decided to transfer her to a private medical center.

Thanks to God and your help, the surgery has been carried out successfully. Now she requires rest for 3 months without walking, care and physical therapy to keep her active and in the rehabilitation process.   We need to cover the pre and post-surgery out of pocket expenses, as well as the recovery process and physical therapy following the intervention.

Any contribution, no matter how small, makes a difference. Your support will help us overcome this challenging situation and enable my mother to regain mobility and walk again.
