Help Gary & Barbara Turner Rebuild After a Devastating Food Truck Accident

A lifetime of hard work changed in an instant. Now Gary and Barbara need our help.

For Gary and Barbara Turner, owners of Barbara's Quick Lunch in Chepachet, Rhode Island, their food truck was more than just a business. It was their livelihood, their independence, and the way they supported themselves.

Now, in their 70s, they are facing one of the most difficult challenges of their lives.

Gary was recently involved in a devastating accident when he was struck by a truck. During the accident, hot grease from the food truck's deep fryer spilled onto him, causing severe burns.

Gary has since been released from the hospital, but his recovery is far from over. His burns have left him in tremendous pain, with severely limited mobility. He now relies on a wheelchair to get around, while his wife Barbara does everything she can to care for him.

As if Gary's injuries weren't enough, the accident also caused extensive damage to their food trailer and truck, potentially leaving both totaled.

In a matter of moments, Gary and Barbara lost the ability to earn a living at a time when they need that income the most.

The bills haven't stopped coming. Everyday living expenses, medical costs, and the financial burden of losing their business are beginning to pile up.

At an age when most people hope to be enjoying retirement, Gary and Barbara are instead facing physical pain, financial uncertainty, and the possibility of having to rebuild everything they've worked so hard for.

But they shouldn't have to face this alone.

This Is Where Our Community Comes In

If you've ever stopped at Barbara's Quick Lunch, enjoyed a meal, or simply believe in helping hardworking neighbors during difficult times, we're asking you to come together for Gary and Barbara.

We're raising money to help them:

- Cover medical expenses and Gary's ongoing recovery.
- Pay everyday household bills while they're unable to work.
- Replace lost income from their food truck business.
- Begin rebuilding their livelihood after the accident.

Gary and Barbara have spent their lives working hard to take care of themselves. Now it's our turn to help take care of them.

Every donation, whether it's $10, $25, $100, or whatever you can afford, will help ease the financial pressure they're facing.

And if you're unable to donate, please consider sharing their story. Sometimes the greatest thing we can do is bring a community together when someone needs it most.

Let's show Gary and Barbara that they're not alone, that their community cares, and that even after a devastating accident, there's hope for a better tomorrow.

Please donate, share, and help us get Gary and Barbara back on their feet.

Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and prayers.
