Supporting Baby Malia

Thank you all for your continued prayers and support.  It's been a long road for my Daughter Kaylin and her family. Kaylin was 24 weeks when she gave birth to our fighter Baby Malia Mae on June 10th.  Since birth Baby Malia has had many complications starting with a major surgery on her intestines because of the Ecoli infection.  She was recovering well but it eventually evolved to the meningitis infection.  As the infection is very serious in itself, it also can cause other issues which It had led to inflammation in her brain causing frequent seizures.   Malia, mom and dad have been to 3 hospitals now, the current one being Texas Children's The Woodlands.  Where Malia is being tended to by neonatologists, neurologists, and infectious disease specialists. She is a fighter for being two months old...we pray everyday for her to get better and to finally go home.  Her recent surgery was completed yesterday Aug 20th, to close up her tummy from the infection in her intestines.  This is the home stretch now for her and her parents, as long as she heals and recovers from this we are hoping she will be able to get home in about a month.  As Baby Malia fights, Kaylin and Marcus need your support.  Kaylin is currently with Malia everyday at the hospital, while Marcus attends the police Academy in Houston which he started a week prior to Malia being born. It's been almost 3 months since they've been in the hospital and bills have now accumulated and they are falling in hard times.  We are asking for your support as they need relief from the burden of financial issues to concentrate on getting Malia better and ultimately get her home with them.
