Hi Family & Friends,
It's with a heavy heart that I am asking for Prayers and if financially able to do so, donations for my niece's upcoming medical bills and to help with any financial stress this will put my Brother and Jackie in.
This past Sunday, my 1 week old niece was acting lethargic and started to become unresponsive. My Brother knew something was going on and decided to rush Baby Koral to the ER; to the same hospital she was born at a few days prior. My brother told us she was slipping away, and him and Jackie were terrified. Our family rushed to the ER to be able to see Koral before she was transported via Ambulance to Rady's Children's NICU in San Diego. Sadly, we found out Monday (1/6) afternoon that Koral has an infection in her brain (Bacterial Meningitis), and on Tuesday (1/7) we found out that she either has or had E. coli as well. Not the news we were hoping to hear. While in the ER she was put on 2 different antibiotics and as of yesterday the Doctor's at Rady's put her on a 3rd one.
Please lift up my Niece Koral Lynne Curtis in your prayers, we are a family of believers and Trust that God will heal her. Please pray that no damage was done to her brain and she will be completely healed.
As most of you know my Brother is in P.A. School and already has a lot on his plate. They are currently staying in a hotel close to the hospital, so that they can be there around the clock by their daughter's side while she fights. They were told Baby Koral will be in the hospital for 3-4 weeks minimum on antibiotics and closely monitored. I'm just hoping to be able to with your help, Bless him and his family with emergency financial assistance and prayers. From the bottom of my heart and on behalf of my Brother, Jackie & Koral we thank you all for the prayers, phone calls, text messages and financial help. God is hearing your Prayers.
