Kaia Gianna Biteng was born June 4, 2021 at 23 weeks and 6 days. Weighing 475g (1 LB) at birth she has been a fighter since the start!

Unfortunately the journey hasn’t been an easy one. Kaia is currently battling Stage 2 necrotizing enterocolitis (NEC). She is receiving the best possible care but still has a long road ahead of her.

Since her early arrival her mom and dad have been in Calgary to be by her side and to support each other. The financial burden of being in another city and unable to work has been challenging for the family but they have been doing everything they can to try and get by. I know asking for help isn’t easy, but I know Mikey and Jean could use and would greatly appreciate any support we can provide them! Thank you so much for your help ♥️
