The last 24 hours have been quite a whirlwind. Our mystery baby decided that yesterday was the day to make her appearance. At 26 weeks and 6 days.
From a placenta abruption, to very little amniotic fluid, to fluid around her organs, a c-section and ultimately a perforation in her bowel, she made quite the dramatic entrance into this world.
She had surgery this morning to repair the perforation. Surgery went well and she is doing well but its going to be a long healing process for her and a few months stay in the nicu.
A huge shout out to my parents. We cant thank you enough for support and love you have given us. For always being there when we need you. And helping us get through this crazy time. We are so lucky to have you.
Thank you everyone for the love and support we have received. I apologize if this post is a hot mess I am running on fumes at this point, but I would like for you all to meet the newest Sanders baby, Ella Quinn, at 2.1lbs, 12 inches and a whole lot of sass.
