Helping Azran Brosseau

Donation protected
Friends,

We wanted to put a need before you that we're seeing as an opportunity.  Our dear friends Chad and Valerie Brosseau have a sweet son, Azran, who has some physical challenges (read below).

Those who know the Brosseau Family know that they have dedicated themselves to serving the most vulnerable in the Burlington Vermont area.  Their years of leadership at ANEW Place has changed the trajectory of lives forever.  Would you take a minute to read Azran's story and, if you're able, consider a Thanksgiving or Holiday Gift?  Thanks!

From Chad and Valerie:
On December 10th, we'll be in Delaware where Azran will have a second surgery (the first was when he was just 10 weeks old). We haven't shared a whole lot online but we've realized through this crazy journey that we need our people around us and praying!

Azran was born with a very rare genetic condition that affects his skeletal structure in various ways. He's one out of about 90 cases worldwide. His surgery will be to decompress two areas of his spine that are pinching his spinal cord causing compression, and one area will be fused with a bone graft as well.

Our journey with our sweet boy has been one of incredible joy and worry, wonder, waiting, and learning to trust God, who is absolutely looking out for this one. Azran is on his own timeline for milestones and we're cheering him on every step of the way. This will be our 5th trip to Delaware, where we receive care at Nemours A. I. DuPont Hospital for Children. Through countless X rays, CT scans, MRIs and other tests, Azran has been a trooper.

In hearing about the Brosseau's journey with their sweet boy, people have reached out to ask how they can help and support Chad, Valerie and Azran. First, we ask that you would stand with them in prayer - that the doctors would have wisdom, that Azran would be safe, that the surgery would correct all compression and its effects in his body, that he would have increased mobility and better eating after the surgery, that Azran wouldn't be afraid, for quick healing and recovery, and for endurance and grace for Chad and Valerie through it all.

Second, our goal is to raise $12,000 to help Chad and Valerie with expenses surrounding the surgery and Azran's medical needs. While they've been blessed with air transportation and lodging for their stays in Delaware, Chad's time off to travel for appointments and the surgery is unpaid (beyond using his vacation time). In addition, Azran will be needing assistive mobility devices, and they are looking to purchase a minivan to accommodate their family. We'd like to help offset the burden they're experiencing with the upcoming surgery and bless them by helping with a down payment for a minivan.

Thank you for prayerfully considering helping with these needs!
