Helping Ayden during his procedures

Hi I'm Haley fundraising for my son Ayden. Ayden was only 3 weeks old at first baby check up when we found out he was having abdomen problems that have resulted in bowel obstruction to his lungs, bowel leakage, no nerve cells in colon and so much more. I have watched my son struggle with this condition for 12 years of his life embarrassed, sad, and depressed it literally breaks my heart. Today we have finally found some answers to some of his medical illnesses. The doctors believe he has what is called hirschsprung's disease they did a 2 layer biopsy in his colon that shows all signs he does have it. They now will be doing a 3 layer test to be sure it is infact hirschsprung's disease. If this is the case Ayden will have to have some or all of his colon removed and this could result in a temporary or permanent bag. As for now Ayden will be spending a week in the hospital involving a very serious surgery to where they will operate by turning his appendix above his belly button, putting a tube through his belly button down to his colon every night for the next year or longer Ayden will have a catheter inserted to his outside plug where meds and saline will be given. I'm very happy we are finally starting to get answers but I'm so overwhelmed because we have been informed by the doctor that several meds, procedures, and exams will not be covered by his insurance and my insurance enrollment through my work has ended. Ayden will have several doctors appointments and procedures he will have to go through for the next year and as much as I hate to ask I have no other choice I have not been at work for a year just yet and do not qualify for fmla which will leave me with no income.
