Helping Autoform Steve after his home burned down.

Early this morning (3-17-2024) Steve and his family were alerted by their family dog that a fire was ablaze in the back of their home. Steve, his family and the dog were able to escape; but only with the clothes on their backs and a cell phone. After an attempt to get back into the home for personal belongings the windows blew out and it was too late. The home was completely engulfed in smoke and flames. Holland Fire department battled the flames for hours on end, but with strong winds and the fire already spreading it was too late.

The fire is believe to be caused by the family RV parked next to the home (as it has been for 20+ years). The RV is also a total loss, however Steve and his family are currently staying with family in the area while they navigate this travesty.

Fortunately the home is insured, however I am creating this gofundme not only as a gesture to help some of the most kind, caring & helpful people I know, but also to get them through a tough time as they process what to do as far as housing, work and recovering what they can. As if running a family owned and operated business isn't hard enough, this is a huge wrench in the mix not only for their personal lives, but also the business.

Every little bit helps and will go a long way toward helping them rebuild, stay afloat and replace some of the things that were lost in the fire. As we all know most of the important things are irreplaceable, however Steve is most thankful for his family to have escaped with their lives.
