Hi everyone,

I never imagined I’d be writing something like this, but life can change in an instant. Recently, our apartment building caught fire, and we lost almost everything we owned. Thankfully, we made it out safely — but our home, memories, and all of our belongings are gone.

We’re now starting completely from scratch and doing our best to rebuild our lives. The things we lost weren’t just “things” — they were the pieces of our everyday life. Our king-size bed, all of our clothes and shoes, legal documents, electronics, books, personal photos, and even our dog Daisy’s bed and bowls were all destroyed. Our TV, laptop, guitar and amp, and all our kitchen and bathroom essentials are gone.

We’re grateful to be safe, but now we’re faced with the challenge of replacing what we need just to live normally again — and finding a new place to call home. Between the cost of moving, a new security deposit, and replacing everything from clothes to furniture to groceries, we’re hoping to raise $10,000 to help us get back on our feet.

Any amount — big or small — means more than we can ever express. Every dollar helps us rebuild a sense of home and stability after such a huge loss. Even if you can’t donate, sharing this GoFundMe would mean the world.
