Helping Arwen Through This Tragic Time

Donation protected
My name is Jeanette, but that really isn’t important. I am looking to raise funds for someone dear to my heart. Her name is Arwen and she has been one of the best friends I have ever had. She is one of the strongest people I know. She was my voice when I didn’t have one. She was my protector when I needed one. She was always great at giving advice, even if I sucked at taking it.

On Sunday, May 16th, 2021 the unthinkable happened, her husband, the love of her life, Jason Lee Hardin, passed away due to complications of COVID. It has been a hard struggle and he had been hospitalized for some time.

We are all saddened, shocked, and miss him terribly. He is survived by his wife, Arwen, children Arya, age 17, Talen, age 21, his father Jeff, brothers Jeff Jr., Justin and countless friends and family.

When you think of Jason you can’t do it without thinking of Arwen. They were a pair and always together. They had been partners in crime for the past 28 years. They were one of the rare few who were lucky enough to find each other early on, when they were only 14 years old, they were each other’s person. I have never seen a couple that went together so well. They have battled ups and downs like everyone else, but the way they did it together was amazing.

If you ever met Jason he was sure to leave an impression. He could make anyone laugh. He was so full of life. He was the one that got things done. There was no stopping this guy when he put his mind to something. He was Mr. Fix-It, a man of all trades. He was always there to lend a hand, and help those in need. Jason was selfless with a heart of gold.

This tragic loss has been felt through multiple communities. Jason has touched so many lives. As some of you may know Jason and Arwen had been laid off from their jobs in Mammoth Lakes, California due to the economy and how COVID hit their town. In hopes to provide for their family they moved to Colorado where Jason had been working hard at a new job.

This is where you all come in. Arwen is going need help with funeral costs she may incur. Arwen will now be finding herself having to pay for life’s essentials (food, bills, rent, and so on) on her own without the help of Jason. I really would like to see her stay on her feet during this time. The plan is to move her back to Mammoth as well so she can be closer to her family and friends to lean on them for support whiles she adjusts to a new way of life. So I’m asking if you are able to or wish to honor Jason this way, please help by chipping in what you can towards Arwen and his daughter, Arya, to get through this unthinkable hardship.

We miss you Jason, and we love you Arwen!

Thank you all, from the bottom of my heart!
