Hi, my name is Apollo Reyes. Many of you know me as a photographer and photo editor. In the past, I’ve battled cancer and came out stronger. Recently, I faced another serious health challenge connected to past treatments, which left me with aphasia (difficulty speaking and communicating) and changes to my vision. Because so much of my work relies on clear communication and visual detail, I’m currently unable to work as I normally would.

Why I’m Asking for Help

This chapter has been tough both physically and financially. While I wait for my Social Security benefits to begin, my monthly bills and daily expenses continue to pile up. On top of that, I have upcoming therapies I need to help with my recovery. I’m doing everything I can — including offering photo editing services — but I could need a little extra help to stay afloat.
