Help Us Save the Strays of Almería – Support Our Cat Neutering Campaign
We are Helping Animals Almanzora, a small, dedicated animal charity run entirely by volunteers in the Almanzora Valley, Almería, Spain. Our mission is to care for and protect the region’s many stray and feral cats through an ongoing Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) program.
Right now, we’re responsible for over 100 colonies, home to around 1,000 stray and feral cats. Of these, more than 450 cats remain unneutered, and a large percentage of them are pregnant. Every week that passes without action means more kittens born into a life of hardship and suffering.
We’re doing everything we can — but we can’t do it alone.
This year, we’ve received grants from just two of our local town halls, totaling €5,000. These funds are strictly limited to neutering costs, but the need goes far beyond that. We are struggling to raise the additional money required for essential care such as vaccinations, parasite treatments, and covering the shortfall in neutering expenses.
We desperately need your help.
Every donation, no matter how small, goes directly toward improving the lives of these vulnerable animals. With your support, we can:
• Prevent hundreds of unwanted litters
• Improve the health and wellbeing of street cats
• Reduce the spread of disease
• Create stable, managed colonies
• Give these animals a chance at a better life
Please donate today and help us continue this vital work.
Together, we can make a difference — one cat at a time.
