Helping Angelique and her children

This is for my aunt Angelique and her children. They are currently displaced due to the flooding in Houston, Texas from Hurricane Harvey. Her 1st floor apartment has completely flooded and her car is floating in the parking lot. She and her children have been rescued and moved to a hotel. Everything in the apartment is gone; things that she was able to move to the neighbors above her are gone as the flooding has reached the second floor.

She does have renters insurance and she has also put in an application for FEMA. These will take weeks if not months to kick in and provide her with the assistance to relocate. Right now the main concern is getting food and clothing for her and her children and keeping them safe in the hotel they are staying at.

They aren’t receiving any vouchers at this time so everything is coming out of pocket and funds are being depleted. They are thankful to be alive and safe right now and have no concern with the material belongings, just the necessities. They have been able to walk to a corner store for food but everything else is shut down.

Please if you can give ANYTHING, it would be greatly appreciated. Please, Every little bit helps even if it' just sharing this page. Thank you!
