Friends of Sharon...

To know Sharon Kilgore, whether you have just met her or known her forever, she is a woman you will never forget. She has such charm and style, compassion and flair. She is talented, thoughtful, gracious, kind, would give anyone the shirt off her back or high heel off her foot. That is just the type of person she is. It is genuine. Sharon is the real deal. She approaches life as a journey; she touches hearts and lives daily in that goodness. Sharon started Mane Crush Salon on September 22nd, 2015, with a vision to express who she is. A retreat to welcome anyone who entered. Sharon is Christian. She prayed for months that the Lord God would give her wisdom while choosing who would become the family of Mane Crush Salon. It is a beautiful, love-filled refuge for those who enjoy working our craft there. We have become family. Clients and stylists. She has made it so comfortable that we all socialize and enjoy each other.

At this point in Sharon's life journey, she was completely surprised by a stage 4 pancreatic/liver cancer diagnosis. She is fighting like a LION! However, she must concentrate on treatment now, preventing her from working behind her salon chair. Although, that is where she would prefer to be. Humbly, Sharon has given the team permission to create a GOFUNDME. It makes her uncomfortable. But to allow those who love and care to support her journey tangibly. Not charity, but our outpouring of love and support for her fight. Through this site, everyone can participate through prayer as the most important gift, and those who have the means can help with donation. Together we can be a part of "doing something" that can enhance Sharon and bathe her in our love and support. Sadly her already costly health insurance would like to say this is pre-existing... which is so unfair.

Two words.. "Thank You" seem small, but the joy of being part of a life other than our own is what our Father taught us to do.
