During the summer break, each family plans a vacation and sends their family members to build memories with extended family members. Over the weekend, one of our instructor’s children was taken away from us too soon in a tragic incident while visiting family. The worst thing that can happen to any parent is the loss of a child regardless of the age of the child.
The Mathies Noncommissioned Officer Academy Team asks that you come together with us to support one of our own during this unexpected time.
Losing a child is indescribable. While the Air Force only covers the transportation of the deceased child, they DO NOT cover the expenses for the parents, their surviving siblings, hotel fare, meals, etc. Therefore, every little bit helps in this unfortunate situation.
At this time, we will not be able to release any further details. Any support you are able to provide is greatly appreciated!
