My Sister Amy (Beth) Novi as most of you know has been battling Lupus since her early 20s and has been fighting the disease for over 30 years. During this time the Lupus attacked her kidneys and she lost all kidney function. But despite all of this, she has always kept a positive outlook on life. She has worked to help others, to keep paying bills, and to enjoy what she can. During the last 5 years, however, it has been very tough for her because she has had to do dialysis 3 times per week, had many trips to the hospital, required several blood transfusions, and was only able to work part time. This has made it very hard to keep up with the hospital bills along with living expenses. The great news came Aug.14th, however, when she got a call that there was a kidney that matched her body type. She is now recovering beautifully after her kidney transplant, and is so happy to get a new chance on life. Due to all the Hospital stays and some of the treatments, however, as well as prescriptions that are not payed by health insurance she is falling way behind on paying these bills. So, we would be so very grateful for any help you may be able to give to help get her back on her feet. We also want to bless you and your families to be happy and healthy for years to come.
