Helping Ameerah and Family's 3 year battle

Donation protected
I know everyone has been wondering what is going on. We just haven't had the brain capability to post any updates for a few days. Ameerah was life flighted to salt lake City last Monday, she was in ICU for 2 days and then was transferred to the oncology unit to start her third battle. She is stable so far but is also fighting the flu. She is not happy and she is very tired because this chemo is kicking her ass. Ameerah had a clear scan in January. In February I noticed her breathing was a little off and she was running an unexpected fever I asked her doctor to please do a CT scan and he said it wasnt necessary so I waited like he told me to do. A few weeks later she got worse and I asked him again to please do a CT scan and again he told me it wasn't necessary but that they would give her antibiotics and check her blood. After the antibiotics didn't touch her fever and she tested negative for any virus, I waited a couple days after that until I didn't feel comfortable keeping her at home anymore and I called him and told him I wanted her admitted now. He admitted her and told me they would do a x-ray to give me peace of mind. When the x ray came back he reassured me that it wasn't cancer but that she had a thymers gland that was swollen, I told him I wanted a CT scan now to make sure and he said agreed finally. On easter the results were everything but a thymers gland. Ameerah has multiple tumors on her left lung including one that is sitting behind her heart. All of this could have been avoided if her oncologist would of listened to me in February. The tumors would not have grown as big as they are now and she wouldn't be having such a hard time breathing. So far she has had one dose on a new trial that me and my husband agreed to try from a doctor in Washington DC. We had an X-ray on Sunday to find out that her tumors are shrinking after only one dose of chemo. Good news yes but we still have a very very long road ahead especially since she only has one kidney and this will be her third round of chemo. Our family has been ripped apart. We up and left with the clothes we had on our backs because we couldn't function. I had to leave my son at home to help care for my mom. Ameerahs school has come together and helped us greatly, candle lighters foundation is helping us, our neighbors are looking out for my son, and our family is helping us, and our toddler and my dad is here with us. We are staying at the Ronald McDonald house for now. Treatment is looking like 8 months and we need everyone's help to move all of our belongings and find a place to live so I can get my son and my mom down here with me and we can focus on ameerah.....if anyone has ever met her or loved her please know that we need every possible share or donation and prayer we can get we literally have nothing here and she is fighting for her life AGAIN. I will post updates when I can and I'm sorry for not getting back to everyone I just can't keep repeating myself I get sick to my stomach. Please please share share share Thankyou
