I’m creating this fundraiser for my friend Alyssa, her husband Joseph, and their two little boys, ages 4 years old and 6 months old, after a devastating four-alarm fire broke out in their apartment building last night.

Unfortunately, their apartment was one of the units affected by the fire, and they are currently unable to return home. While they’re still waiting to find out if any of their belongings can be salvaged, their apartment is unlivable, and they have no clear timeline of what is next.

As you can imagine, this is an incredibly overwhelming time for their family. With two little boys to care for, so much uncertainty, and so many unexpected expenses ahead, the last thing I want is for them to have to carry the financial weight of this situation alone.

My hope in creating this fundraiser is that we can come together to offer Alyssa and Joseph a little bit of support and peace of mind as they navigate what comes next.

Any donation, no matter how big or small, will go toward helping their family with temporary living arrangements, everyday essentials, and whatever else they may need in the coming weeks.
