What started as a sore spot on her tongue ended in three words no one ever wants to hear...You. Have. Cancer.

At just 27 years old and a recent graduate from nursing school, Allie's life dramatically changed as she was given the terrifying diagnosis of oral squamous cell carcinoma. In the blink of an eye, she went from nurse to patient.

Allie recently underwent major reconstructive surgery to remove a large portion of her tongue and the lymph nodes in her neck. Although her surgery was successful, her journey with cancer is far from over!

As Allie continues to heal from surgery and begin daily radiation, the medical bills have already started piling up. Friends, this is where we come in!
