Afghanistan sporting teams are struggling to get funding to participate in Olympic Games.

One of those teams who are working hard everyday to participate and bring home medals is the Women's Cycling Team. 

There are a number of women, led by Rukhsar Habibzai (add Twitter and Instagram) working through a lot of hurdles to get there.

Unfortunately, due to the war torn country, there is lack of equipment supply to help them train and compete. 

This fundraising is created to supply them with a few new bikes or equipment that can help them riding and achieving their goals, especially that it's incredibly hard for Afghan women to study or play sports in Afghanistan.

Currently the Afghan Women Cycling have participated in many national activities with difficulties and sharing bikes at times since any broken bike can't be repaired easily due to lack of equipment and supplies.

Unfortunately, the supplies have been discontinued and the few bikes they have left require fixing such as frames, gear and brake group set, helmets, tyres and more. 

This money will greatly help the team to practice and participate in upcoming tournaments and Olympics one day.
