Helping Aaron with rent and his new start
Donation protected
UPDATE the response has been overwhelming, and I have tried to keep up with the messages and Aaron is so thankful! I am so grateful to all that has donated ❤️
I have opened a seperate acct and will bekeeping track of everything with receipts etc.
We are paying weekly for motel incase an apartment comes open with the assistance.
With this Go fund me and private donations Aaron should be safe and warm in the motel for 2 months or more !!! The process for housing , medical evaluation and disability continues with Andrew and Jed and we are in touch on a daily basis. My sister Lora went today, and took him breakfast and told him he’s not moving anytime soon, and he just was in disbelief and so thankful. She was getting groceries and some needed items . He does have a microwave and small refrigerator. He has showered and had a good nights rest. Some people are going to drop off items and gift baskets to Aaron and he likes juices and hot chocolate , soft foods and bananas.
We will be providing anything he needs as well with this money . Truly a Christmas miracle❤️

❤️❤️
My name is Tracy Jones, and I am helping along with many other wonderful people to raise money for Aaron to be in a warm motel, and off the streets as a homeless person. His story began with the help of Jed and Andrew at Wabash Valley Lock and Key where Aaron and Kenny sat in the bench for many months at 7 th and Hulman.
a few weeks ago Kenny passed away from hypothermia, and has left Aaron grieving for his friend and all alone. Many of us have taken meals to Aaron lately and got to know this gentle soul.
Jed and his wife, and Andrew have applied for a copy of his birth certificate and will for Social Security card replacement and has assisted him with forms for many agencies that may assist him. Aaron has a valid drivers license and has worked in the past. His legs are failing him and has difficulty with standing for very long. As they apply for housing and go through the process for disability and agencies for assistance we are trying to keep him in a motel to stay warm.
when I ask for help through my Facebook page and the Terre Haute scanner community page for any used furniture or household items I was overwhelmed with so many donating what he will need to fill his apartment when it comes to that point in the process . My sister Lora Morris took Aaron to a motel until we have a stable place for him to live we are applying all donations we have received so far and in the future to keep him in the hotel with this cold weather. I don’t think I have met someone so appreciative of a meal than him. Money is tight for everyone, but if you feel like you would like to contribute that would be great ! Also Wabash Valley Lock and Key would accept donations on his behalf.
Christmas blessings to all ❤️
