Helping Aaron Beat Cancer

If you haven't seen our posts please let me share with you about Aaron. He had been having horrible migraines for months, his neurologist thought he should get an MRI in July. We were very surprised to hear that there was a mass in his right frontal lobe. He started to have some small speech problems but then it got worse and he started having focal seizures. He had a biopsy done August 9th. On the 11th we received a devastating call that it was malignant and atleast a grade 2. Immediately we tried looking for treatment. The tumor he has is very rare, less then 1% of people have this, and add in an IDH genetic gene it's even a fraction of the 1%. We were having trouble finding a hospital that could do the appropriate surgery. We contacted UofM right away. They could do the surgery and follow up treatment - BUT the insurance company wouldn't approve them. We did have a tele- conference with an oncologist and had the pathologists exam the biopsy samples. At this point they regraded the tumor to a 3. We then found out that he has cancer in both kidneys.
Since Aaron started having the seizures he's been out of work, at home resting. His craniotomy is this Friday the 17th. Then a long road of chemo and radiation. He already has a substantial amount of bills.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. He's a very proud amazing man but as a mom I see he needs the help.
