Help a Young Student Regain Stability

I’m creating this GoFundMe on behalf of a coworker and friend who is going through extremely difficult circumstances. She is an 18-year-old high school student who works with me at a local café. For her safety and privacy — and mine — both of our names are being kept anonymous. The situation, however, is very real and urgent.

She is currently homeless, doing her best to manage school, work, and daily life without a stable place to stay. Despite everything she’s facing, she still shows up, works hard, and remains incredibly resilient.

One of her biggest challenges right now is not having any reliable transportation. She does not have a vehicle and must depend on others just to get to school, work, and essential errands. This makes an already overwhelming situation even harder and limits her ability to move forward.

She supports herself almost entirely on her own, and saving enough for a car — even an older, affordable one — is nearly impossible in her current circumstances. Having a vehicle would bring her safety, stability, and the independence she needs to rebuild her life.

The goal of this fundraiser is to help her get a reliable used car and give her the chance at a more secure and hopeful future.
