Helping one of our Volunteers

On October 17, 2020 Spring Mill Fire Company was informed that John Warner, life member and Board of Director has contracted Covid-19.  He was quarantined and unable to assist the fire company during this period.  His condition worsened and he was taken to Einstein Medical Center Montgomery, and later transferred to Lankenau Hospital. He was placed on a ventilator for approximately a week and is currently still in the hospital on oxygen working on his long road to recovery. He will also need further rehab due to the effects that COVID had on him.  He has served Spring Mill Fire Company No. 1, and the residents of Whitemarsh Township for over 25 years, earning life membership status.  He has also contributed in both the administrative and firefighting capacities as well.  Having held numerous positions such as, Captain, Lieutenant, Secretary, Engineer, and Board of Director.   We have received numerous inquiries in regards to how people can help.We have set up this Go Fund Me Page to help ease the stress this has put on his family, and to assist with any costs incurred during his recovery.
