Hi, my name is Madeleine and I’m a mum to my beautiful little boy, Jimmy.

Over the coming months, I’m facing a period where I’m unable to work due to cancer treatment. While my focus is on getting well, my biggest priority — as always — is keeping life as stable and secure as possible for my son.

Because of recent circumstances, we had to leave our previous home quickly. As a result, we’re now in the difficult position of needing to find a new place to live while I’m unwell, with very little left behind. We don’t have much in the way of furniture or household essentials, and rebuilding a safe, comfortable home for Jimmy during this time feels overwhelming.

This fundraiser is to help cover basic living costs over the next few months — rent, bills, groceries, transport to treatment — and to help us re-establish a modest home while I focus on recovery. It’s not easy to ask for help, but this support would give us breathing room and allow me to concentrate on healing without the constant worry of how I’ll provide during this period.

Jimmy is my strength and my reason to keep going. Any contribution, no matter how small, will help us stay afloat and move forward with hope and stability during an incredibly challenging time.
