On the morning of Monday 10/19/2020 Kenysha Lewis was involved in a head on collision caused by a drunk driver. She was sleeping in the passenger seat while traveling home the next thing she remembers is waking up in the hospital alone and in severe pain. Kenysha is suffering from two broken ankles and a fractured left leg. She is a mother or two young boys and will be unable to provide for them for the next 5 months due to 3 surgeries and recovery time. She will have to learn how to walk all over again.  Kenysha stands all day on her job as a care giver and will not be able to supply and of the necessities it will take to provide for her small boys. They are now left in the care of family and friends scared if they will get to see there mother again. Due to restrictions placed at the hospital  we are unable to bring her anything, see her or even give a hug for some reassurance. Let’s try to ease her stress by donating and letting her focus on her recovery. The money will be spent on her rent for the next 3 months, hospital bills and her care of her children including food, cloths, and any fees incurred from the keeper. Her children need her and we need to keep our strong black women safe. Protect black women! Help her to help her family and not loose everything! The time is now, anything you can give will help.
