Helping a Single Mom and Her Kids Stay Housed!

Hello! I’m Rhiannon, and I’m fundraising on behalf of a single mom of four daughters, aged 5 to 16. They had recently immigrated from Kosovo to Ireland, in part to leave an abusive relationship. I met them by chance in Dublin in the spring, and having worked in crisis center spaces for a while, I wanted to help in any way that I could.

Earlier this year, I helped connect the mother with local services while she waited for her work visa, and covered their rent and living expenses (school books, medicine, winter clothes) when their landlord threatened to evict them. The mom is all set up with social services now, and I’m raising funds to cover the remaining costs. Any help is truly appreciated!
