Hello everyone,

My name is Maggie and I'm reaching out on behalf of a brave woman and her two children who are in dire need of assistance. This mother and my dear friend, who we'll call Emily, made the courageous decision to leave a toxic and abusive relationship in the States and return to Canada with her two kids, a teenage daughter, and a 3-year-old son.

Unfortunately, their journey back home wasn't easy. They fled with nothing but the clothes on their backs and their passports. Emily had to prioritize the safety of her children above all else, leaving behind possessions and resources in their pursuit of freedom and safety.

Now, Emily and her children find themselves starting from scratch in Canada. With no belongings or support system to fall back on, they are in urgent need of our help to rebuild their lives. Every dollar raised will go towards providing them with the basic necessities they need to create a safe and stable environment for themselves.
