Recently, she suffered a severe injury, shattering her tibia and fibula, along with fracturing her ankle. This has already led to one surgery, and she faces another to place plates, screws, and possibly bone grafts to aid her recovery.

As a self-employed individual, my mom relies entirely on her ability to work. Unfortunately, due to the extent of her injuries, she will be unable to work for several months as she focuses on healing and rehabilitation.
