Hi, I'm Paulina,

Daughter of an incredibly tenacious woman known as my mom, Martha. Martha is an incredible mother to 3 girls who adore her and want nothing more than the absolute best for her as she does for us. Martha has always been there for others. She's made sandwiches for strangers, helped family through hard times, and always been a strong shoulder to cry on.

She always showed her girls their culture and showed them the beauty of being American as well as Mexican. Summertimes would be the most fun because we'd get to see Mom more. She'd always encourage us to use our imagination to create games, and so we did. As we got older, she allowed us to visit the motherland. She helped us discover ourselves.

Unfortunately, late this year, my momma Martha told me she had a doctor's appointment and found out the hardest news of all: she had cancer. And of all the stages, it's IV. And that's when things began to change. Seeing her go through the changes, as it's all new, is so much to bear.

Our mother is strong and kind like a beautiful rose, but she cannot do this alone. We are here for her physically, but she has to work to maintain insurance. The financial burden is overwhelming. Between hospital visits, medications, and everyday living expenses, it's more than we can manage alone.

We’re asking for help—not because it’s easy, but because it’s necessary. Every donation, no matter the size, goes directly toward her care and comfort. It helps us keep the lights on, get to appointments, and make sure she has what she needs to fight with dignity.
