Helping a Loving Mother Find Peace

Hello Everyone, my name is Stephanie Brown. This is something I’m not ready for or want to be writing about, but in my heart, I’m at peace knowing my two boys will be fine. Back in 2000, I found out I had stage 3 cancer in my small intestine. Until then, chemotherapy was working fine. A few months ago, I found out that the chemo is no longer working and the new treatment that I’m currently on is being denied by my insurance. In the meantime, my doctor will be looking for something else he can give me, but that doesn’t look promising. I’m still staying hopeful and positive through this. So, I created this account so I don’t have to worry about my funeral expenses, nor do my boys have to worry about laying me to rest.

I want you both to know I fought hard and I’m sorry I had to leave you both. I couldn’t be more proud to have been your mother and I’m so proud of the men you’re becoming. I know you both are going to do great things in life and I know you’ll always have each other to lean on. I may not be here physically, but I’ll always be by both your sides and looking over you both. I hope you always know I love you both so much and I thank God everyday...
