Helping a good samaritan accomplish one last good deed
Donation protected
As you may have heard on the news, Nigel Sherman, a good samaritan, was killed while helping a stranger in a car accident on the freeway. Nigel was a great guy, who was doing what he knew was right - helping a someone in need. We worked together at a small restaurant called Bobby's Cafe, 1 of 2 restaurants that Nigel worked. He was a hard worker and great to be around.
Nigel was very close with his mother. She has been fighting cancer and Nigel was her rock. He was her ride to appointments and did anything a loving son would do for his mother. I talked with her today, and not only is she dealing with this terrible loss and cancer, but she is currently staying in a shelter. She is trying to pay for his cremation and any of his hospital bills that may come her way.
I am hoping our community can help pay for Nigel's end of life services and help his mother through this terrible tragedy. She raised a wonderful son who would do anything for her, and I want to give Nigel the chance to help his mom out one more time.
